Description
When I was little, I would always draw dragons with triangle wings cx and now I have remade this childhood dragon. Soon I'ma color him in with the same color pattern as I colored one of my other little dragons as a kid :3 nyan. It shall be purrfect.
I think this one was actually my favorite dragon so far to make just, like, the pose and everthing is so cute irl cx It's my first time actually succeeding with an armature (before I tried to use just the wire and it kept poking through > SO ANNOYING AND UNFLEXIBLE and if you bent it back and forth too many times on accident THEN IT SNAPPED!!!!!
with this I can actually bend it around as much as i need to, so i can bend his leg backwards to get to the other leg if i need to without having to worry about it FALLING OFF
so yeah that's good
lol also I baked the wings first with them flat on the glass so that they wouldn't get warped when making the rest of it or baking it for real (i only baked them for 10 mins, and then altogether i baked it for another 45 mins on top of that, so this lil guy spent 55 mins in the oven altogether :3 I've heard that even though it may slightly change the hue it makes them a lot stronger and more likely to bend instead of snap (and since it has the foil frame anyway i doubt it'll break off at all.
AND THIS IS MY FIRST SUCCESSFUL STANDING MODEL!!!!!!!!! ^-^ HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!! (or, well, i guess the red dragon i made for a friend at one point was successful XD but it was so thick and rounded with clay that it wasn't too surprising. Plus, i baked it on its back resting on its wings, so it couldn't exactly fall over, but still.)
YAY FOR ARMATURES!!!!!!
